This facility is perfect for youth & ski groups, weddings, family reunions or conferences. Plan a vigorous ski trip or a corporate retreat at this refreshing hideaway. A second lodging option is the cozy Acorn Cottage which sleeps up to five people. Popular with honeymooners and families alike for its privacy, the cottage has a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Your hosts are well-travelled and will be able to speak to you in English, Dutch, German or Spanish.
Acorn Inn's 800-square-foot Reception Gallery creates an ideal location for multiple-day corporate retreats, creative workshops, seminars or group events of any kind. This unique meeting room features white walls with striking photographs, wooden beams, pine flooring, and an abundance of natural light from a large window and skylights in the cathedral ceiling. It opens onto an expansive wrap-around deck and has a kitchenette (one of two, which are convenient for caterers.) A faux wood stove provides heat and atmosphere during chilly months, and the room is air-conditioned in summer. For rate information click the "Meeting Area" photo.
"Having traveled quite a bit ourselves, we know how nice it is to find an "off-the-beaten-track" place that is both friendly and unique. First and foremost, this is the atmosphere we want to provide for our guests. We feel that being surrounded by art and things made with loving hands is good for the soul—maybe instilling us all with creative and rejuvenating thoughts—so we've decorated our inn with colorful tapestries, baskets, masks, and folk art that we collected mostly during the years we worked in Latin America.".
